I think this is awsome in a Privateers kind of clever use of game mechanics way. Actually thinking about joining them if they'll have me.
I think the overall situation is a joke though.
There's so much hypocrisy on this board it's incredible. Think about it.
Someone comes on here and complains about lowsec gate camps, what do we do? We blame the victim. "Why didn't you use the map? Why didn't you use a scout? Why didn't you prepare?"
Someone comes on here and complains about losing all their worldly junk in a hisec suicide gank, what do we do? We blame the victim. "Why were you using the afk-autopilot approach to traveling? Why did you only have cargo expanders on your T1 hauler? Why didn't you prepare?"
However, some bunch of noobs get together to make an all mining op lovefest corp, they get war dec'ed, and suddenly it's not the victims fault any longer? It's the aggressor who's a "bully"?
TOUGH CRAP! The corperation full of just miners and mission runners should defend their right to exist. Who says you should be able to make a defenseless corp and get away with it? Who says it's your right to make an otherwise non-sustainable structure and the game should protect you? Why didn't you prepare? The question still applies.
You want to be untouchable, stay in an NPC corp.
But here's a shining example of how this carebear attitude breaks the war dec philosophy of game design:

There are no bullys in Eve. There's only the smart or the dead. The bully angle is a cop out. An emotional ploy to support lazy and carebearish attitudes. To argue otherwise is to attempt to justify the existance of people who don't wish to be bothered with their own survival. How's that any different than the gatecamp or the suicide gank whiners?
All that "bully" bs aside, how well does this mix with hisec POS? Would it be possible to keep one impervious to destruction via timing of war dec drop versus coming out of reinforcement? I don't know enough about POS crap to say.
